Due to yesterday's "+" C, followed by overnight sub-zero temps,
things will be icy in places until the sun warms the surfaces to
soften them up. There will also be many groomed areas early this
morning where the Machine Groomed powder will be absolutely
fantastic as long as you have tuned edges.

Can you imagine a more perfect way to start your Ski or Board day
than this? The quality of these early morning groomed surfaces is remarkable,
not only for the grip and the glide, but for the miles and miles that the
Mountain crews have covered on the beautifully unique, the one and only,
Tremblant!

As the day progresses, it will become a perfect, sunny spring skiing

How can you miss, with a day like this!

Please Note: "progressive" or gradual openings
due to overnight freeze and daytime thaw. It may take a
couple of hours for things to loosen up, but it's worth
the wait!

A year ago today...
We had 46 open trails and it was +25C!

By comparison, this Spring blows last year away(**), so make
every effort you can to get out for these fabulous coverages
that are in exceptional shape!

(**)...and last year was a great, fun Spring anyway!

The Parks are all in great shape. If you want "soft" landings,
best wait for a while in the mornings before gettin' airborne,
the snow goes from firm to soft with a little thermal input
from Mr. Sun.

Exceptionally fine coverage and quality for this unusually late
Spring weather. Consistent overnight sub-zero's are holding
Tremblant in an extended transitional pattern of firm morning
surfaces with mid-morning softening and some late afternoon
wet corn snow where the temps and the suns intensity are
most most focused on the South. The North continues to hold
excellent "winter-like" conditions and the Tremblant Mountain
Crews are generating machine groomed powder with "all day"
durability.

If you can make it out any time during the upcoming final week
of the season, between now and April 10th, you will not be
disappointed. In our opinion, this will be one of the finest weeks
of the season, just one of many, but it's a long time until late
next November, so that makes it even more special.

Tremblant is a rare treat right now that should not be missed,
but you've only got a week left to do it.

If you can, book off vacation days this week to Ski or Board
Tremblant and get a last blast of winter before the Golf clubs
and lawn mowers need to be dusted off.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apres Ski Notes:

Up to 10cm of snow possible overnight. Possibility of rain mix as well,
however with temps at South Base at 1C, Summit temps should remain
nicely below zero.

Easterly winds shifting to West could also mean orographically
generated accumulations of snow on all sides of the Summit, however
that is speculation. Long range weather models show a decrease in
overnight temps for the balance of next week, so morning conditions
will continue to be firm from sub-zero exposure. The silver lining is that
coverages should not deteriorate and surface quality should continue to
be very high right up to last run on closing day, 1 week from now.
