12(*) Open Trails on the only day of the
season some people can say "I'm Going
To Go Night Skiing At Tremblant".
Sunny, Snowy Tremblant on the dawn of the
24hour Children's Charity Ski/Board Fundraising
Marathon!
Visibility: Unlimited!
Surface Conditions: Excellent!
Fun Factor: Unlimited!
6 Inches Of Fresh Snow!!!
Please Note: Due to massive amounts of
activity today, there will be many revisions/additions
etc., etc.
IF, you are on a 24 Hour Fundraising team, you are going to be
skiing or Boarding to start with on Upper Beauvallon until
the South base is on-line sometime after dark. Initial hopes
were of course, that the track could extend right down to the
base for the start. We think the delay is most likely due to the
extended warm "+" temps that we had until about 48 hours
ago at base level.
IF, you are a regular Tremblant Guest, out for a day of fine
Alpine Skiing or Snow Boarding, you will be on the superbly
groomed slopes of Versant Nord, The North Side, where 3
Summit based trails will lead you to the Lowell Thomas Triple
Chair lift.
Either way.... You will access the Summit Via the South Side
Gondola. Sunshine and Fresh Snow Greet the First Run Crowd
ready to ride to the Summit This Morning.
All Aboard! Welcome To Tremblant! Todays Weather, Screenshot Courtesy of

Obviously, with all the activity around one of the single
largest Ski Resort Charity Fundraisers on Earth, today's
report will feature a Huge Apres Ski component, so please
be sure to "refresh" this page often, or visit frequently
as we do our best to cover all the action for both Archival
purposes as well as for the benefit of those who can't be
here today.
Apres Ski today, and only today, really means around the
clock Skiing and SnowBoarding for those entered into the
24 Hour Marathon. This is a fascinating experience of
endurance amids't the legendary beauty of Mont Tremblant's
majestic Pre-Cambrian scenery, day and night.
For Spectators, the Resort has a wide array of celebratory
activities going on at the South Side base where all the timing
occurs adjacent to the Centre Stage featuring entertainment
throughout the 24 Hours.
FUN WITH WEB CAMS!!!
In a constant attempt to be at the forefront of
Social Media development Tremblant360.com
features our latest display of the fabulous, useful
Tremblant.ca Web Cams in a composite array to
capture a wide-angle panorama.
Actually, we just have too much time and it's
fun to play with shapes, but it is kinda' cool
anyway... What we see here is:
Snowmaking, and lot's of it, as temps
are very good for production.
The Start/Finish/Pit Zone with all the vertical
blus sponsor banners. There will be more
finishing work to this sector before the
event starts at noon.
Screen Right... we can just see the side
of the main entertainment stage.
Lot's goin' on today, so check back
later and often. Hope to have a bunch up by
5:30 P.M. or so prior to evening coverage.
