New Terrain On The Way!!! McCulloch on the way, Kandahar not far behind!!!
Hope to have time to put up some more Apres Ski
in reply or will add to tomorrows, but regardless,
there's lot's going on with Terrain Development
right now, so near future trip planners should be
confident about finding the Laurentian's best pre-Christmas
conditions right here at Tremblant! Sunday, Well Apres Lunch, High Speed Cruisin' On The Wide Open
Sweeps of P'tit Bonheur.... 5 to 6 laps per hour for a couple 'o
hours, will turn your quads into mush.
First Tremblant360 North.Park.Pic.,
2011/2012 Season North Parks upper @ Rope Tow and lower, at the foot of LaTraverse
were both well attended. We've got some more of these
we'll try to process in the next few days.

15(*) Open Trails, Including South Side
Top-To-Bottom!
We're sending this Gondola
Cabin down to pick you up.
Please try to get on as soon as possible!
We Never get tired of this view! Tremblant Proof Of Snow.a
Nansen Haut, Upper at 2:00 P.M. yesterday. Tremblant Proof of Snow.b If you need more evidence than these
photo's contain.... You're too Fussy!
...Not to mention Crazy!
If you can get to Tremblant now, you really should try
because what we have is in all probability, the best
Regional Alpine Ski and Board conditions around.
Perfect ??? no, but dog-gone close! What's open is
very close to glitch-free. There are some icy bits
on a few exposed wind blown or high traffic areas,
however we found they are easy to navigate around
or completely avoid, just by sticking to the vast majority
of snow based surfaces.
We're still in a very early, young, just
started season and we don't yet have the deep
base and extensive coverage that comes with the
maturity of the season.... But, ....what we do have
is, as usual, the best that can be done by Crews
of dedicated Tremblant Alpine Descent Artists who
work with their very capable tools and resources,
together with whatever Mother Nature shares to
produce the most consistent, Smile Inducing Ski/Board
experience possible.... every single day. Period.
"Seize the Moment."
"Live for Today."
"Don't put off till tomorrow
what you can do today."
Etc., Etc., Etc., all apply to why you could be motivated
to get out for whatever days on the slopes of Tremblant
that you can possibly wrangle.
We realize that we're probably "Preaching to the converted",
but the benefits derived from vigorous exercise on the slopes
of Tremblant far exceeds the calorie burning equivalent of any
gym due to the spectacular outdoor dynamic of sport, scenery
and Skier/Boarder "Esprit de corps". Now that the busy
24 Hour Children's Charity Marathon is in the books, those fortunate
enough to be at Tremblant today are in for a very rare early season
treat. Grip, Edge Set, and Traction Qualities are generally Very High,
on P'tit Bonheur and Nansen Haut, near flawless.
Today's Weather... Mostly sunny with base temp's getting up to around
zero, so the summit should remain nicely below by 3 to 5C, which will
preserve those beautiful top-side surfaces. South-Westerly moderate
winds will move across the Mountain from the Soleil Side toward
P'tit Bonheur, but at these temp's and velocities should be no trouble.
Possibility of snow flurries tonight, a light dusting if anything.
Looks like stable weather 'till Thurs., at least.

Go now if you can!
Take a day off if you can and give yourself
an early Christmas Present!
There's a lot more Tremblant news to cover, like what's
on tap for prospective new terrain openings, and archival
additions to the 24Hour event record, to name only two,
and we'll get to all that as time permits, so "refresh"
or check back whenever you have a moment.
Thanks for your visit!

Racing Around Tremblant
For 1.832 Million Good Reasons!
This years course utilized the Gondola and the Summit for the
first time for the Night portion which meant participants entered
in the opposite direction than we've been used to when
they used "Flying Mile" at night for previous 24H editions. Individual team members warm up before a shift out on
the course. Mean-while, back out on the course, participants were showing
great form as they neared the final turns to the loud cheering
and encouragement from an enthusiastic crowd. More later...
