a day 4 sides of Tremblant....
For those lucky enough to be here yesterday, we had
what might arguably be the best day of the season so far.
We're going to take a look at that with the following 3
step sequence from telephoto, to on location, to close-up
on location....
"Tremblant Trail Case Study", Of...
Grand Prix, trail # 12. Pic. number 1 Grand Prix is the left side trail shown above and is not
only a Tremblant Classic Descent from the very earliest
days of the Mountains Alpine development, but continues
to this day as a favourite of many.
Mature seasonal Snow accumulation with several days of
meticulous grooming, stable below zero C temp's for a long,
long time, fabulous sunshine and no line-ups to hold you back....
It all added up to a day that taps you on the shoulder and
reminds you that when all the factors are right, a magical day
of superlatives is wrapping you up in a moment of Tremblant
Alpine perfection.
Another Iconic Tremblant Day.
Grand Prix, Groomed With Just The Right Amount Of Naturally
Occurring Contours To Get A Lift From At Speed.
Grand Prix Pic. number 2
While it's not sunny yet this morning, it is only -3 C, so even without
the solar energy(the Sun may come out though as there's a hint of
brightness through the cloud), the temp's will be quite easy to handle,
and the most important thing... the snow surfaces are going to be every
bit as fine today, as yesterday.
They may even be better.... that possibility exists because Mountain
Crews will have been working through the night as usual, and we'll
get to ski/board on the results of their labours. The constant upgrading
of surfaces on a daily basis is what generates better and better conditions
on all groomed terrain when temp's are stable, below zero, and the abundance
of natural snow exceeds the wear factors.
Here's a Surface Carving Sample from yesterday, taken on the lower
section of Grand Prix.
Grand Prix, Pic. number 3
The quality of the traction level is obvious as this Skier executes a power
carve of complete confidence on snow he knows is going to be quite
capable of holding the edge he's set.
That pretty much sums up all of Tremblant right now.

Major, Major Tremblant Visitor Benefit...
Super Demo Days !!!
Tomorrow is one of the "Super Demo Days" on this
seasons calendar and if you want to be someone who actually
buys Skis or Board PROPERLY, by demonstrating and comparison
shopping, then tomorrow is your day...
When huge percentages of Alpine gear are bought and sold by...
"BIG BOXSTORE Co." somewhere in the suburbs of "Yourtown",
many, many people never get to try before they buy.
How do they know that what they're paying for is correct for their
skill level or the average conditions they ski/board in?
Because "Johnny", the kid assigned to "Skis" that day says so???
This leads to very big mistakes which can inhibit your skill
improvement or utilization potential immensely!
Fix That By Going To Tremblant's Super Demo Day tomorrow...
and Get the gear that actually works for you!!!!
The Staff At Tremblant's Super Demo Day
Know Exactly What To Do. They Use This Gear
Every Day!
Here's a sample if what we found when we did an Apres Ski
tour of the Resort Gear Shops this week. You'll find the demo
models all set up for you to try on the Mountain, so shop wisely
And Compare On The Snow!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------
There are other topics to include here today, there's tons going on
as we have visiting old friends with us from Buckinghamshire in the U.K.,
so the bottom line is that we're super busy, and will add here as time permits.
Just Go To Tremblant Now If You Can.
