Yesterday, at last run, it was snowing at about 1 inch every 20 minutes.
Not just a little snow... Tons!
... and they were big, fat , fluffy, powder snowflakes, coming down in a thick blanket that every Skier and Boarder thinks about in dreams.
I can not tell you exactly how long that continued, however it showed no signs of stopping at that time, and even if it had stopped then, it would still be Fantastic today.
At -13 this A.M. we will see the temps rise to -8 or so, which is really easy to handle and the surface conditions are just going to be outstanding.
The Mountain is Fully open with all 94 runs on line and ready to carve up.
The official statistical snowfall for the past 24 hours is 17 cm or 7 inches and you do not need to be a "Rocket Scientist" to know that this amount of fresh powder snow will give us our best conditions possible.
BONUS ... Today is "SUPER DEMO DAY" , being held at the South Side Base.
This is your chance to try out all the newest gear on the slopes.
All the top gear will be available for demos and you can find all the tech support imaginable to answer your questions and set you up with everything you want to try.

you’ll surely enjoy exploring the summit of the mountain at dusk!
While you watch the sunset in all of it’s splendour, our chef will
be preparing an exquisite traditional dinner of Swiss fondue!
You'll greatly appreciate the included half bottle of wine, offered
in the hushed ambiance of the Refuge. Don't worry about the ascent;
the Gondola will take you up! Every Saturday this winter, between
