Mid-Winter Beauty.
Our One Pic. Forecast For A Super Smooth, Fast ’n Fun Day!
(**)Please Note: The 84(*)Open Trails do not reflect the actual completeness
of Tremblant’s Current Coverage because of the number of “Race” designated
Trails on the Official Trail Data.
In essence, there are only 2 closed runs, and one “Progressive” or
Gradual Opening, so the actual “Trails In Use” is currently 92 out of
95 possible.
Furthermore… Trails Designated “Race” are typically Groomed to "As Close
To Perfection As Possible”. Ultimately, when either the Training or Racing is
concluded, these immaculately prepared surfaces are Opened to the Public,
that’s You, that’s Us… and we all get the benefit of Superb Surfaces that are
Fast ’n Fun!
There Are “Racers” All Over The Place….
The Next Thing We’re Gunna Talk About Is...
Conditions Caveats…
These are not Our Conditions Caveats, these are Tremblant’s
Professional Ski Patrol Official Mountain Conditions Postings.
They have specific advisories for specific locations and you should
take them seriously.
This is when a Permanent Signed Green Trail becomes a Superseded Black
Diamond Trail as labeled by the Temporary Hand Placed Signage that is
put there because the Trail has unusual conditions that render it More
Demanding than it was designated to be.
Typically, readers here are the last people that need review of
these types of advisories, however, just as typically, readers here are
those whose friends know they are knowledgable, so it’s up to us to
pass the responsible word on when we’re part of a Group that say’s
“Lets Go Over Here”, and we know a beginner or intermediate in the group
could/will be getting in over their head.
We have been on these trails and we’ve seen people struggle so
we know that somehow, someone has underestimated the challenge
when they undertook the trail Marked “VERY DIFFICULT” with Beginner
Skill Sets.
Bottom line on this point...
If you have the chance, point out potential risk to those who may for
any reason, be unaware.
