Every winter day counts.

The anticipated rise in the temps that were forecast have not
materialized yet, so we have another winter day which will help
preserve our surfaces.

We start out this A.M. at -8C with a forecast high of -1C under
partially sunny skies which will make it a really easy day to handle,
not only for staying warm, but as far as conditions go too.

The Mountain is almost fully open with 93 open trails and all lifts on-line.

According to the "Official" snow report @ http://www.tremblant.ca ,
there are a number of "Progressive Openings", but when they count
those in the total "Open" count, you can expect them to be accessible
shortly.

Late day update: The sun really came on strong this aft., the temps
shot up well past the Weather Networks projected high to about +5C
and predictably, things became quite soft. With the early shift to
daylight savings time, it seems incredibly bright out for this hour
@ 5:45 pm. There is a lot of wildlife activity on the Mountain, the
Blue Jays, Ravens, Woodpeckers and other birds are moving around
quite a bit and mid-mountain on the North Side, a lot of tree borne
mosses and lichens come to life, open up and follow the sun's path
during the day. A very pretty afternoon.
