Tremblant’s annual Telus Spin Event! An electrifying event filled with concerts, parties, huge big air competitions and great spring skiing & snowboarding. Conditions are still great… don’t miss all the fun! Check out Tremblant’s Spin Pass for a fantastic deal too!

October, 2009

Saturday, Oct. 10th – Monday, Oct.  12th:

Fall Concert Series! The busy pedestrian village moves to the beat of the last fall concert series in Place Saint-Bernard. From classics to great originals, music fills the air and complements the beautiful fall colours at Tremblant.

Saturday, Oct. 10th – A-Zaar – 2 to 5pm.

Sunday, Oct. 11th – Marc Derochers – 2 to 5pm.

Monday, Oct. 12th – Seb. Defrancesco – 2 to 5pm.

Friday, Oct. 30th – Sunday, Nov. 1st:

Halloween @ Tremblant! Spooky… Scary… Magical… Things that go “Bump” in the Night! It all starts Friday night with Tremblant’s Resort Village Halloween trail. You’ll bump into all kinds of strange and interesting things! A kids costume contest, a magic show and a family disco complete the action.

Saturday kicks off with afternoon activities for the kids, including arts, crafts and face painting, with a “Trick or Treat” segment at 2pm. At 5pm, take another trip along Tremblant’s Halloween road of terror. At 8:30pm, the Gardy Fury Show presents a dozen artists with music and dancing featuring 80′s covers, and a tribute to Michael Jackson. At 9:30, wind up your Halloween evening celebrations with a costume contest for adults at an outdoor disco!

Sunday, the Halloween spirit  lives on in the Resort Village… enjoy the day and all the scary decorations.

December, 2009

*UPDATED* Now opening Tuesday, Dec. 8th:

Winter Season Opening! The day we’re all waiting for… Fire up the lifts, take us to the top, and hit the slopes because it’s time for snow!

Wednesday, Dec. 9th:

Olympic Torch Relay! On the road to the Vancouver Winter Games – The Olympic torch will be proudly welcomed on its way by Tremblant. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to see the Olympic torch in person, and cheer participants on!

Friday, Dec. 11th – Sunday, Dec. 13th:

The 9th annual 24 hour Ski/Snowboard Marathon! Set these dates aside to participate in one of the biggest winter fundraisers… ever! Over $1,000,000 dollars was raised for sick and underprivileged children last year, and Tremblant needs your support to raise funding even higher! Saturday, Dec. 19th – Tuesday, Dec. 22nd:

FIS Super Series Racing for 15+. The first big ski race of the season is an FIS Super Series for young men and women aged 15 years and up. More than 180 entrants from Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S. are scheduled to show up… come on out and see some fast races!

Saturday, Dec. 19th:

Super Demo Day! Sample all the latest gear and technology! The South side base becomes “Action Central” as equipment reps set you up to test out the newest skis, snowboards and equipment. Don’t miss it!

Saturday, Dec. 19th – Sunday, Jan. 3rd:

Christmas and New Year’s at Tremblant! See the Resort Village transformed into a wonderful festive place to spend the holidays. Tons of family activities, games and friendly competitions, as well as daily fun parades Apres’ ski. Check out Le P’tit Caribou on New Year’s eve… they’ll be partying it up!

Thursday, Dec. 24th:

Don’t forget… SANTA CLAUS is here! Presents and Surprises for all!

Thursday, Dec. 31st:

New Year’s Eve! Finish off your year with a bang in the Resort Village during Tremblant’s New Year’s Eve celebrations! Enjoy a torch-lit mountain ski parade, music, dancing and a spectacular fire works show to cap it all off. Make your plans now to be part of one of the best New Year’s Eve parties you’ve ever been to!

December, 2008

Friday, 19th – Monday, 22nd:

F.I.S. “Super Series” club ski racing for both men and women ages 15 and over. Over 185 entrants from Quebec, Ontario and the U.S. should make this an exciting event to watch. You may be seeing “tomorrows” Olympians in action!

Saturday, 20th – Sunday, 21st:

Demo Days! Need new gear? Just like to see what’s new in equipment? Either way, you’ll find all the bases are covered at Tremblant’s Demo Day weekend! It’s being held at the base of the South side, to the left of the Gondola loading area. All the big names in snow sports gear set up there to let you have a turn trying out the newest hot equipment! You’ll be able to find deals on the things you find throughout the Retailers in the resort village with promotional pricing in effect.

Saturday, 20th – Saturday, January 3rd:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Such a special season to be at Tremblant. Like a scene from a post card, the Resort Village is all dressed up and decorated to show for the holiday festivities. Winter wonderland holiday magic, only at Tremblant! Games, parades and entertainment for the whole family!

Wednesday, 24th:

Santa Clause comes to town! This is your chance to catch Santa in the Resort Village, as he makes his way around the world, so don’t miss out!

Wednesday, 31st:

Happy New Year’s Eve! Place Saint-Bernard at the Resort Village is the place to be when you ring in the New Year! Music, dancing, games, and a surprise show all leading up to the midnight fireworks celebration!

January, 2009

Saturday, 24th – Sunday, 25th:

Alpine Super-G Ski Races. The Tremblant Ski Club presents DLS level Super-G alpine ski racing for boys and girls, ages 13 and 14. The entrants are from the Laurentians ski division, and 120 eager, competitive racers are expected.

For those who are unfamiliar with the format, Super-G is designed to bridge the gap between Downhill and Giant Slalom events. Super-G has characteristics similar to the Downhill event in that it’s very fast, but with a higher level of technical ability that comes with the increased number of turns, more like the GS.

For something a little different…

Wednesday, 28th – Sunday, 1st (Feb):

Karate & Okinawa Kobudo World Cup. Tremblant will be host to the 3rd “Oshu-Kai Okinawa Karate & Kobudo World Cup” at the Centre des Congres.

This will be a unique activity for a winter ski resort, so be sure to check out all the action at both the competition and public demonstrations while its here! Martial Artists from countries all around the world will be here and as a World Cup event, the level of performance will be incredible to watch. Entrance is free, so there is no reason to miss out!

Saturday, 31st:

Burton El Nino. For snowboarding enthusiasts, be sure to take a look at the Burton El Nino event for young boarders, 15 and younger. There will be a friendly jam session where they can see how they stack up against other boarders, and members of the Burton Team will provide guidance for technique improvements.

February, 2009

Wednesday, 4th – Friday, 6th:

NSIA Demo/ Expo. Tremblant welcomes the National Show Industries Association (NSIA), for its annual exposition and demonstration of all the new and upcoming Skiing and Snowboarding equipment. Unfortunately, this is not open to the public, but to industry suppliers and retailers by invitation only. However, you may see some really neat looking new gear out ripping up the mountain though, as manufacturers will be eager to have attending retailers trying out all the latest high tech stuff on the slopes!

March, April, 2009

March Break Activities: Tremblant will see the annual tide of skiers and boarders who come out to enjoy the mountain during their school break. Tremblant is a very easy 1:45 minute drive from Ottawa, within 3 and a half hours from most of Eastern Ontario, and within about 7 and a half hours from Toronto. Tremblant is a natural choice for March break snow sports, due to its outstanding combination of runs and accommodations. Now to April 12th:

Weekend Spring Concert Series. Join the crowd Apres-ski for an entertaining concert in Place St. Bernard at the South Side base of the resort village, between 2-5pm, every weekend from now until the end of the season!

Friday, March 27th – Sunday, April 5th:

Telus Spin! The annual Telus Spin event is an electrifying 9 days of spring skiing/ boarding, Skicross & Boardercross racing, live music, art, parties… the list goes on! Don’t miss out on tons of fantastic activity! For more information, check out the official Telus event site by clicking here.

Tuesday, March 31st – Saturday, April 4th:

Canadian Snowboard Championships. 400 of Canada’s top riders will be competing in an Olympic Qualifier for next year! See world class action in Boardercross, Half-pipe and Parallel Giant Slalom as Canada’s best snowboarding athletes battle it out on Tremblant’s slopes, which will also be part of the Telus showcase!

June, July, August, September, 2009

July 25th, 26th:

Ferrari Festival at Le Circuit, Tremblant. There’s still time to take in all the sights and sounds of the Ferrari Festival as dozens of Ferraris descend on Tremblant for this Wonder of Speed! What more can you say to those who appreciate the fine art and passion for speed and style that no other name says better than Ferrari. Don’t miss it!

Les Rythems Tremblant. As part of  Tremblants Summer Festival,  each weekend free concerts by some of Quebec’s hottest artists. Saturday Night concerts (at the Lotto-Quebec stage):

July 25th:         Dany Bedar, Pop and Soft Rock

August 1st:      Boogie Wonder Band, Disco

August 8th:      The Respectables, Pop, Rock

August 15th:    Caracol, Pop

Tremblant Beneath the Stars! Enjoy Nightlife with the Stars! August 14-15th. The Perseid Meteor Showers offer the possibility of one of the most dramatic, spectacular Night Sky Observation opportunities you will have. Typically, these meteor showers display dozens of shooting stars per hour,  Mother Nature’s own Light show set against the vast reaches of Space. Live images from a 16 inch teescope are projected onto a giant screen as a powerfull laser points out all the stars, constellations, satellites and plantes in the night sky.

This is an educational experience for all Star Gazers!

This is a no charge event and you can walk to the summit for no charge as well, however, you may want to consider taking the Gondola for the published fees.
