World Class Ice Sculpting Comes to Tremblant!

World Class Ice Sculpting Comes to Tremblant!

Mont Tremblant is enthusiastically supporting an all new ice & snow sculpting festival called “Féerie des Glaces“, showcasing some of the world’s most talented sculptors, on now until March 8th!

This inaugural production of the festival is the result of a lot of effort and organization by Mont Tremblant’s own Laurent Godon, who in addition to his own impressive “Fire on Ice” show, has managed to convince a world class group of ice sculptors to display their talents throughout the Mont Tremblant region.

Ice carving is a well established international competition with global participation, most notable of which, are four ice sculpting talents who have come from Harbin, China. Harbin is a world recognized centre for ice carving, where Godon has won titles himself.

You may have already seen the big blocks of ice that have been placed around the Resort, St. Jovite, and the Old Mont Tremblant Village. You’ll be able to see some of the world’s best carve those big crystal clear blocks into all kinds of fantastic shapes in the coming days ahead!

This is a first for the Laurentians area, but not for Godon, who has won several titles in international competitions, and has the added experience of organizing “Bal des Neiges” in both Montreal and Ottawa too.

With all this talent and experience coming to the Tremblant area, the event is sure to be a success, and we look forward to it coming back year after year!
